The word unique is possibly used too often but when it comes to Ingliston Country Club it is a perfect fit. Situated in the outskirts of the Renfrewshire village of Bishopton, overlooking the Clyde estuary with spectacular countryside views, it doesn’t take long to realise this is a special venue.

One of it’s most outstanding features are the horses and many stables that Ingliston houses. The restaurant is a real treat as it overlooks the show jumping arena where owners ride their favourite fillies whilst diners look on, often in amazement.

The venue has 3 events spaces all with their own style; 2 medium sized in the very grand Salerno Suite with its gold bannisters and winding staircase up to the function suite and the Connemara suite, a modern and impressive space with an air of elegance. Lastly the new marquee which is currently situated indoors on one side of the show jumping arena and accommodates larger groups of guests up to 500.

Weddings at Ingliston are luxurious occasions no matter which suite it is and outdoors offers some fantastic picture opportunities. Backdrops include the bandstand positioned close to the entrance and an imposing metal horse made solely of horse shoes. Of course the horses and stables are photo hotspots with newly weds whilst couples can even get some snaps with the resident alpacas!
